why wagons? 700 1990

So... Why wagons?

I don't understand the allure of wagons. I personally think they're rather ugly, their aerodymanics are bad, and the way their storage space is arranged is inferior to a sedan. Plus, their rear lights leave a lot to be desired, and I understand the tailgates rattle eventually.

I undestand you can add mode cargo vertically, the springs are harder, they have rear wipers (I totally want one) and ...? they're odd ducks?

What is so good about wagons?
