why wagons? 700 1990

I've always had wagons. My first was a 72' VW squareback, a 95' Saturn sw1, and a 1990 740 wagon. Oh, and a 73' VW transporter (technically not a wagon, but listed as one).

They are a lot handier when hauling a lot of gear. I do a lot of backpacking and canoeing. The wagon is the perfect platform for this. It holds a canoe better than any SUV out there and its easier to load and unload. I can also take four people backpacking and have enough room to stand their packs in an upright position.

I've even loaded a wardrobe in the back and drove it 100 miles without any trouble.

I hope this answers your question.
