Preemptive Starter Replacement 200

Personally I'd wait until things are going wrong.

With a standard shift I would most certainly wait. But I would wait with a paid membership in an automobile club(but thats a given). You would, more than likely, find space to give it a shove and get started home. And , in many cases, when the solenoid goes bad, you can jump the starter with a wire or a screwdriver to get going.

If money was no problem(loaded), I have plenty of free time, I go on lots of long trips, and trips, regularly to remote areas, I would consider a preemptive change. Other than this Im waiting for the starter to give up the ghost.
