Location/Replacement of the Ignition Reference Sensor 700 1989

Hello!
I've read quite a few postings on the similar sounding symptoms (no immediate "hot-start's" unless I let it sit for 2-5 min., sudden shutdowns while driving) and decided to replace both fuel pump relay and the reference sensor (I believe that it's the same thing as flywheel sensor, RPM sensor?)
I did take a look under the hood and, on the first approach, could not positively locate the sensor. I know it's somewhere on the bellhousing, but...where? For those of you who already replaced one: How hard is it to get to the sensor and will any special tools (i.e. lift) be required?
Thanks for any useful information in advance,
Val Osipov
