I guess I'm a little obsessive, I changes the timing belt and seals on my 86 240 DL wagon and I am now re-assembling the belt covers and the wiring looms (one from the computer box to the main loom and the other from the alternator to the main loom). I can pretty much figure out where all the bolts go by trial and error, but I just can't entirely remember where to secure the rubber coated metal wiring loom holders, I have three of them, onto the vehicle? I thought two of them hung on the 10 mm bolt and threaded shaft that are on the bottom of the seal holder, but where does the third one go? Also are the alternator loom, vacuum hose, and computer loom held together in each of the single wire clamps on either side of the seal holder? Could someone tell me where to put these clamps? Also, where can I find either part diagrams similar to the ones at the Volvo dealer on ther internet or photos of the engine assembly at this point. Yes, virigina I have all three of the major manuals.
