1 7/8 inch SU's from 72 Datsun 240z 120-130

Hello, I recently picked up a set of SU carbs from a 1972 Datsun 240z with a 2.4L straight 6. They look to be rebuilt and aren't the flat-top style. They dashpots are held with 3 screws. They have a 1 and 7/8 inch bore and look new compared to my HS6 SUs. With some linkage mods they will bolt right up. If they workout i will port the intakes slightly too match the carbs.

My 64 122s has the original b18 fitted with b20 pistons and a shaved down b20f head ported and polished with bigger valves, hi-ratio rockers, heavier springs, better pushrods, and a race cam fed by the original worn out 1 3/4inch hs6 su carbs with unknown needles. The engine was this way when i purchased the car. It still has the 4 to 1 exhaust, is that bad?

Does anybody have any experience with these carbs?
Are they going to be too big for my motor?
Will low RPM suffer?
Any opinions?

much respect,
curtis m. white
