How Do I Remove MAP Sensor Screw? 140-160

I want to adjust the mixture on my "71 142E to somewhat leaner by way of the adjustment screw in the MAP sensor. So far I've removed the epoxy plug, but the large screw is really obstinate. I've cleaned all around the screw head with a Dremmel tool, but the thing won't budge. Is it safe to apply some heat there? Any suggestions as to how to go about getting the thing to turn would be much appreciated.
