The routing of the fuel line is not heat friendly at all. Probably pretty nice in cold weather but...
I have twice now had a "firehose" effect when removing the hose on my filter due to heat soak in the portion of line from the pump to the carbs. Very startling. I expect it is very possible to overwhelm the needle valve under such conditions and flood the engine.
