trailing arm bushing replacement 200 1980

Ah, now I see. And my answer would be no, the tool I made can not be used for pressing in a pre-assembled bushing. The lip would be squeezed between pusher and sleeve. This does not necessarily mean that re-using the old, out-of-the car sleeves is a bad idea, I still have the benefit of removing the old rubber on a workbench rather than under the car. But given the tool I got, I will have to install the empty sleeves first, and then press in the poly bushings. (If installing an empty sleeve is possible, that is. I'm referring to a job planned, not a job done.)
