Volvo did a brilliant job when it came to to the wiring on the 84-87
models (sarcasm), I've had the same issue (on my own, my fathers 744 GL does
nothave this problem as its an '89 model and mine was an'86) so I sat down
during my holidays and made up a new loom for the engine bay and the motor
sensors, ect..

I had to sell that car as it started to develop more issues, But I still
see it around town and miss it each time I see. I've met the new owner
and he told me what the car yard told him when he bought it, hell didn't they
stretched the truth!

either way, it was a great car but it was too
expensive for me to own.

I'm thinking about buying another brick
and I've spotted a 1987 760 GLE
I'll see what the owner will do
hopefully it will have
a positive outcome.
