Thanks for the feedback. I dove into a pair of HS6's I had on a shelf in my garage. Any hints for getting the needle out? I took out the locking screw on both but the needles don't seem to budge. My book says to push them in and then pull them out.. but that doesn't seem to do anything. Other than that one has a really seized throttle and the brass screws have been pretty stripped by a previous tinkerer.. not sure what I'm going to do with that.

It's amazing how much more sense they make after you start picking at them.
