I gotta tell you, if you have an even close to working D-jet, hang on to it and use the expertise on this board to tweak it, overhaul it, whatever. Sure it's a fairly primitve system but when it works, it works. It just beats the heck out of fiddling with SUs like I've been doing for what seems like eternity. Yeah, SUs are OK, very simple, but an exercise in pulling your hair out to get them to behave. I did have mine professionally rebuilt and the job was done right but you still have to get them back on the car and tuned. Bottom line, if I had a newer 1800 with D-jet I'd keep it and learn how to deal with it or go Megasquirt if something a bit more hi-tech is what you'd like. Good luck!
