HELP - No Start - Can a RUBE test the ignition module? 700 1989

Hi Andrew

I just changed the one on my 88 765 this morning. With the cooler weather the car has become intermittent again. I noticed the tach did not move when cranking so started to change the distributor. I opted to replace the ignition module instead and the car fired right up and ran in the drive for about 15 minutes with nothing else happening. If you can get one, swap it out and see is it helps. I still think that you need to rewire that beast all of the way back to the ECU, connectors included. At least then you know it will be a component failure when it quits.

Regards,
