HELP - No Start - Can a RUBE test the ignition module? 700 1989

Hi Andy,

I took the 88 765 on an eight hour road trip today. The ignition module was the culprit on this one.

I believe that any connector body that has been in the vehicle for the past 16 years should be suspect. While the wiring harness materials improved after 88, the techniques did not. Solder all crimped splices, bypass the connector bodies with the ground wires (for that matter, add a few more grounding points on the chassis and check the bonding connections on the frame and battery).
Hope you find it!

Regards,
