Enough, Fiber? 120-130 1967

It is definitely because of the noise transmitted in the steel gear. In marine applications (and high performance), noise is not a problem although a steady whine, which can really get beyond the human ear's endurance level when the teeth wear a bit, is not acceptable in a passenger car environment.
