That is good. It is getting the seal on the windshield that I am talking about. I'm hoping the bedding compound will ease matters, but it may be moot, anyway. Reading the tube, it sounds like it never really dries, so the warnings in the vclassics writeup about working quickly may not be as big of an issue.
