Well its close enough to spring in the northest to get the Volvo out from its winter hibernation. Battery was giving me problems last fall, so I decided to wait til now (spring) to replace it. Did that yesterday.
Cleaned the cables and the connections and hooked it up. Amp and oil lites on the dash were nice and bright as I would expect. Pulled the choke and turned the key---one loud click and that was it. Dash lites went out but came back rather dim. I made sure everything was tight. I made sure the engine turned freely. I checked the battery voltage on the new battery at 12.6V. I rotated all the fuses in their holders as I remember that they can corrode slightly from just sitting.
So before I think about getting dirty and tearing the starter out of there to get it checked out, what have I forgotten. I had no indication last fall that there were any problems.
Thanks for your help.
