I actually made the oil cap pressure tester listed in the FAQ. I had an oil leak which turned out to be a botched crankcase seal but wanted to recheck the PCV system.
Turns out I have a very slight positive pressure not the 2 inches water column vacuum as suggested. I replaced my Oil trap several years ago and can blow through it. I doubt the oil trap is you problem. It's probably excess blowby creating pressure.
This site http://www.riken.co.jp/e/piston/b/b_2.html has excellent info on how the rings work to seal. The rings need to move and if they stick can create excess blowby. Many people have had excellent results using a product called auto-rx from http://www.auto-rx.com/index.html .
