crankcase ventilation screen 1800 1971

The oil trap is held in the block with a bolt that is sorta hidden from view behind the trap, a 7/16" hex head IIRC. After removing the bolt, you can pull the trap straight out from the block. Note there is a rubber sealing ring on the trap to prevent oil leakage. I suspect the screeen is removable, but I've never tried it... no need to, IMO.
