motor mount replace 200

The mounts are what, $20 each for OEM Volvo brand? Shouldn't take a shop more than an hour per side... but yeah, at $80 an hour that's about $200. If the guy's good it'll take 20 minutes, but I bet the book still pays an hour for it.

You can do them, just need a non-damaging way to support the engine. Getting the bolts back into the block on the mount under the oil filter is a little bit of a challenge, even with all the right tools at your disposal. Angle is very tricky and very restricted by the sway bar.

I'd do it when you're doing an oil change- you want the oil filter off for access. Also disconnect the battery cables so that there's no danger of shorting anything out at the alternator.

On the left side, the AC unit has a ground wire on one of the bolts, so don't miss that when bolting everything back up.
