motor mount replace 200

(Here's something I posted on Oct 24th about the cost of genuine Volvo motor mounts. Yes, you can get them for less than $60EA...)

Tasca Volvo in Seekonk, MA

I shop a variety of places for my 240 parts, and when I want to use genuine Volvo parts I order from here. 20%-40% off list with $6-$10 shipping via UPS AND no sales tax! They aren't as cheap as FCP or IPD on some parts, but when you absolutely gotta have genuine Volvo parts I haven't had any problems with their parts or the service. I checked and a thermostat was $12.96, which is about what I paid about 4-5 years ago for one and $22.80 & $24.93 for the motor mounts, I bought these about a year ago. IPD is cheaper on the motor mounts and more expensive on the thermostat, however, I think the gasket is a separate item from the dealership.

FCP is going to be cheaper for BOSCH items, so I would go there for those OEM items, however, as you have read, they are hit and miss on the quality of some other items.

I like ordering from Tasca because I can place one order and be ready to go when the box arrives just before the weekend. All I have to do is go to Pep Boys or AutoZone for the chemicals.

The few times I have been desperate enough to go into AutoZone or PepBoys, I can almost hear the gears coming to a stop in the customer service person's head when they ask what kind of car, and I say "Volvo".

If it needs to be maintained, repaired or replaced on a 1990 240, I've probably done it. '90 240DL, 245K looking forward to 300K badge. >>You haven't really worked on a car until you draw blood<< :-}
