Thanks for the tip, I've decided to special order the Spax shocks and give those a go.

My reasoning is that the Koni's are reported to be reissues of vintage shocks and the Spax are a more recent design.

The Bilstein's cost of revalving is the reason I'm avoiding them. Parker's site adds 175 on top of the 150 for the shocks which is a little too steep for me.

The Spax seem to be pretty reputable so it doesn't seem too risky.
