instead of skiming the head skim the block to bring the pistons up to the top. they are realy far down. you will raise the comp. and make it more resistant to ping by having better squish.
cometic has headgaskits in oversized bores and different thicknesses ranging from .028 and up. they are pricey, but not that bad if you consider what ipd was seling the 92mm elring ones for.
i know you have those really nice pullys for the edis ring gear. so were you going to mount the coil pack? are you going to keep the dizzy in place or make something to keep the oil pump drive in place. i was toying with the idea of taking one of the 75' dizzy's i had converted to hall effect and using it as a cam sensor, COP.
do you already have titanium valves or can get them dirt cheap? i would just go with ss. are you going to be in the rev range were you think they will be needed. titanium valves have a shorter service life. i think you will get more bang for your buck by building a lighter rotating assembly. on my curent build i wen't down over 400g a hole over stock and thats not even a fair comparison considering the new stuff is 92mm bore. so if i were to compare them to b21f pistons and m-rods it would be closer to 800g a hole, can't belive i used to build them so heavy.
