Just this morning, I was looking over your posted wiring diagram, puzzling over a couple minor discrepancies, when I realized it is a drawing for LH2.2, used when the B230 was introduced here in 85, not the LH2.0.
Some of the more significant differences are in the AMM wiring, pinout, fuse designation, injection/system relay configuration.
I have only this poor conceptual view on line (click it to view about 1M worth) which has mistakes or omissions in it I think, for instance, not part of FI, but it shows a ballast resistor you won't find, but match up a little better with the LH2.0 used 83 and 84.
There was no EGR done in the Volvo/Chrysler ignition years. I think they figured they had NOx licked by that "computerized" ignition and the 3-way cat.
I'll see if I can scan a better view of LH2.0 more like yours of LH2.2, but in the mean time this might help with the harness wire issues.
