Rough idle....replace harness? 200

When you checked the air intake hose (accordian type plastic) did you take it off the vehicle and inspect it for cracks and holes along the accordian section (bend the hose and inspect)? That's where you might find some air leakage. If its the original hose, consider replacing it (23 years old now). Regarding the TB plate; check the linkage for smooth operation. The plate must close completely in idle mode or you will have some air leakage that could affect your idle. Check the TB plate adjustment screw by unlocking and backing off completely from the plate adjustment lever. Readjust by turning the adjustment screw clockwise until contact with the lever and continue another 1/4 to 1/2 turn and lock in place. This is a very slight adjustment. Check that the TPS clicks when the plate is taken out of idle mode. I purchased both of my harnesses from David Barton.
