new to the 240...electrical problem 200

Step one complete. I found the problem 3 wires not connected to anything around the alternator is probably the cause of the issue. Now how do I fix it? 1 looks like it goes to some sensor. On 2 there was a corresponding connector to the voltage regulator so I think I need to just put a new end on it and connect it back to the stud. 3 looks like a ground cable that is connected to the front of the alternator but goes no where. Do I just need to re-ground 3. I dont want to hook it up wrong and fry something. Thanks for the help.
