You mentioned the SCCA IT clutch/flywheel. Talk about your dumb rules... I don't know if it has always been that way, but the current ruleset is such that we must run the stock flywheel (no lightening allowed), but we can run any clutch that will bolt to the stock flywheel and mate with a stock transmission input shaft. So of course, you run out and buy a $400-500 custom aluminum clutch to run with your 21 pound flywheel!
