Replacing Engine Harness any thing to watch for? 200 1985

I did mine in about a day but I like to go slow and steady.

One thing I do remember when replaced the harness on my 85 wagon was to reroute the vac. line that goes from the intake manifold to the ignition module. This is for the spark advance. The plastic vac. line is originally routed under the crank pulley with the alternator wiring and the oil pressure sensor wiring. It was really cramed in under there with those other wires. I like to know that that vac. line has good integrity. I rerouted it across the rocker cover/intake manifold to the firewall and then along the rt. fender to the ignition module diaphragm. The whole reroute was only a few extra minutes.

Just a thought.
