Replacing Engine Harness any thing to watch for? 200 1985

Just take your time, take pictures as you go, and watch removing the old connectors.

I did not have to remove my exhaust manifold, just took off the AMM and hoses. Was able to see every connector that way. Removing the old harness labled everything, then took a picture of all of them. Then laid out the old one next to the new one and matched up the connectors and added the same markings.

Suggest having new battery connections and a sealed fuse holder. Maybe even new negative leads for the battery.

Be carefull taking the old connectors off. I busted the old connector going to the dist. Had to go get a donor.

Good Luck,

PT
