Be sure and get the breather box on the side of the engine because the B18 one
will not fit.
The FI engines have bigger valves and a better cam and will do admirably.
To me the bolt-on plates to cover the injector ports are overkill. I use 7/8"
soft plugs and have never had trouble with them (since about 1982 when I did the
first one). If you do put bolt-on plates over the holes be sure that the holes
are sealed some other way because the plate alone will not seal the hole.
Some have informed me that when their engine backfired through the intake it
blew out a soft plug - I find this kind of hard to believe if the right soft
plug was installed correctly.
If the carbs you use specify several different needles the latest one is probably
the best but not likely a show stopper item.
