Modfiying the engine 444-544

I'll first (after towing the car home, and cleaning it out) do some dry fits of a B230 engine (stripped down to oil pan/block/head), and a M40 tranny. I already know that the M41 needs to have the 544/210 tunnel modified (which is more than I had to do to fit the B21/M41 in my 122).

I spent over 100 hours in a friends Volvo salvage yard doing dry fits in one of his junked out 122 before I even decided to try and install the B21/M41 combination (that was back in '99-hopefully, there is more info on the internet of people who has done something similar). It should take less time for me to decide whether or not to try it with my P210. It should be nice to remove all the sheet metal from the front end first.

I haven't seen any real engine modifications (Besides B20) posted here on the BB, but I know people have done it. I just can't seem to find out how they did it.

I really like to keep it stock as much as possible from the interior and exterior view, but I really like how my 122 runs with a B21/M41.

Paul

BTW-I'll document any progress I have with the modification.
