I understand, and please don't think that I was trying to discourage or dissuade you. It sounds like a fun project, and if you have most of the big pieces on hand, all the more reason to go for it. I just wanted to let you know (as if you didn't know already) how I thought the car might react to the upgrade based on having been in a PV for about seven years now with different combinations of power train components.
I'm very much looking forward to progress reports, and I hope you'll be posting them frequently.
