Hi Chuck,

My 89 740 wiring diagram has different stuff hung on fuse 14
Is there an on line wiring diagram for your 760? If so I can help you
troubleshoot.

Seat of the pants advice: Get the greenbook wiring diagram from Volvo
for your car. Then you can handle electrical troubleshooting.

Rube Goldberg method:
Can you remove the fused lines from F14 if there are several wires,
See which are near zero ohms to ground. Concentrate on the leg thats
showing no or very low resistance to ground. You can reconnect the high- resistance-to-ground legs, then see if the fuse is OK and exactly what
isn't working. You are looking for a wire with cut insulation touching
ground, or a shorted component somewhere.
