Terrific illustration, Shannon! BTW, I was told the same thing several times: "Have a shop do it, they have machines that are far more exact." Well, last time I asked my local shop how they did an alignment and they said they just have a bar, like a jig, set up to measure the toe-in. I was paying them $60 to align my car!
