The VIN # is the same for 740 and 740 GL, and I don't recall ever seeing the GL on a post 1991 740. I currently have a '92 740 Wagon with leather,P/mirrors manualroof, alloys but no cruise. The Kelly blue book price is the same for both, may be the NADA sees some differences.
