Not sure why you would be pumping the pedal if you are using air pressure to bleed. You cannot rule out the master just because you have brakes. If master is bad typically the pedal will very slowly sink towards the floor when you apply steady pressure (engine running). When bleeding you must be absolutely sure to not let the reservoir chambers go empty, otherwise you are pumping air into the system which will give spongy brakes. I cannot imagine how a new caliper properly bled would cause your problem. How many bleed screws are on the calipers? If 2 you must bleed them both
If you are losing pressure from the bleeder maybe it just has an air leak somewhere, otherwise fluid is escaping somewhere in the brake system but you would surely see that.
