Weird shake after start and Check Engine Light 700 1990

Yup. The diagnostic code readers are OBD2 and your 90 should have OBD1, which means you "read" the codes by watching a flashing light.
There's a whole description of all the modes for the reader and the codes and what they mean. It would be very helpful to you to run through them. There are also sensor test procedures so you can make sure the car registers the throttle is at idle position, the idle control motor works and a bunch more.
Check it out. There's a dropdown box on the upper right corner of this site.
It's 700/900 FAQ under diagnostic codes I think.
