If it's kind of dying at idle, it may have the same issue mine does. There is an Idle Air Control Valve beneath the throttle body. On mine, someone used a piece of heater hose rather than the right thing, which causes the hose to collapse any time the throttle is not open (at idle). I don't have a CEL, but I didn't have a CEL with a bad O2 and MAF, so my CEL may be burned out.
Anyways, when the throttle closes, the engine still needs air, which goes through a bypass via the idle air control thingie I mentioned above. it's about a half inch inner diameter hose going to the air manifold prior to the throttle body. Mine collapses when I start the car... meaning I need to replace it with the correct tubing.
