Weird shake after start and Check Engine Light 700 1990

Hi,

If it's kind of dying at idle, it may have the same issue mine does. There is an Idle Air Control Valve beneath the throttle body. On mine, someone used a piece of heater hose rather than the right thing, which causes the hose to collapse any time the throttle is not open (at idle). I don't have a CEL, but I didn't have a CEL with a bad O2 and MAF, so my CEL may be burned out.

Anyways, when the throttle closes, the engine still needs air, which goes through a bypass via the idle air control thingie I mentioned above. it's about a half inch inner diameter hose going to the air manifold prior to the throttle body. Mine collapses when I start the car... meaning I need to replace it with the correct tubing.

Hope that helps
