Check Engine Light 200 1993

Hello SaltyD,

Just for the heck of it, remove the connection to the AMM and clean off the contacts with some light grit emery paper and reconnect.

See what that does. Oftentimes, in a 15 year old car, corrosion of electrical contacts becomes the issue.

I had a similar prob with fuel (too rich or too lean) among other codes and cleaning those contacts cured the prob. Replacing the O2 sensor after 15 years and 210K prob wasn't a bad idea.
