accelerator pump equivalent? 140-160

Thanks for the tips, I will tinker on it this afternoon. And for those following, it is a 1975 injected model, guess I should have said so.

I went to the store this morning and got to thinking, if this were a carburetted car, I would say that the accelerator pump wasn't working (explaining the off the line performance-I can literally run faster than it leaves a street light and I am woefully out of shape). Is there something that takes it from off idle to power that is similar to an accelerator pump that I should check into? I am pretty sure something here isn't like it is supposed to be. (perhaps it is all related and will become evident later.)

Thanks again,

Leonard
