...in which case, the mechanical load reflected onto the belt will be putting three times the load on the system it was designed for, so hopefully the pulley system will only cause the belt to slip/squeal like a pig, and the wires to be heating...nothing worse...hopefully!

What could you POSSIBLY want 100A for???? That's 1200Watts!!! Do you have seat heaters, electric window lifts, an AC clutch, double ralley lights...?
As I have stated in Alt kit info: I recommend against anything over ~60Amps. Because in order to transfer more power than that, belt would have to be tightened up like a high E string in order to not slip under that much load...and that would be (guaranteed) life shortening to the WaPu bearing (not to mention sheetmetal WaPu pulley!). Wiring upgrades would then also be required...
That Genny never put out a full 30A anyway...so figure a 60Amp alt gives you 40Amps more than the car had before...that gives you (calculated with round numbers) 400Watts more to power anything you can name...and please don't tell me you have a 1000W stereo system...at HALF that wattage continuous, you'd be deaf in seconds, your ears would be bleeding, and you COULD NOT BE IN THE CAR! A (true) 200W biamped stereo system in a car will give the nicest sound you could ever want...but lets not get into stereo system power rating...that's the realm of true fiction and fantasy...just read a Stereo Review!
