This is the link to the part on FCPGROTON.COM Buy the part and ask your mechanic to install it. It connects at the firewall behind the block and snakes down to the top of the bell housing. It will simplify matters for you and the mechanic, as not all of them know volvos that well, and it will save you money.

The more recent intermittentsymptoms you describe make me more certain its you impuse sender fomthe flywheel(RPM SENSOR)If you ever feel a little "kickback" from the engine when you release the key Then you KNKW it's the sensor.
