pulling the B20 engine on the ES 1800 1973

still a bad idea. I know the seat belt strap can hold the weight, and if all is good the rocker assembly can handle the load...but...using vice grips to hold the strap is not safe and chancing that a worn bearing won't be destroyed in the rocker assembly is not worth it. Finally I have never had a hoist that didn't have a chain. I improvise all the time, I have removed and reinstalled an engine using a tripod of 3 16' logs and some heavy rope (I rolled the car in and out) so it's not like I don't know about these things I just don't get why you wouldn't use the hoist chain.
