Yet More Advice 1800 1973

Well, I recommend removing those parts to make extraction easier. It can be a challenge to get them off, but if you can lift it carefully You could leave them attached.

I pull them because if they get hit hard, they could crack or break. Similar worry for the dizzy. My goal is to get all the extra weight and "breakables" off. But recall that I do this by myself rolling the car forward and backwards to clear the tranny tunnel...

I pulled the 1800E engine only after removing the gearbox because of the cramped quarters in the engine bay. I put a piece of wood behind the head to keep the engine from hitting the firewall after "dropping" the gearbox.
