You might have had gunked-up injectors. Not sure, I'm no expert! However, my engine always seems to run better and quieter after using Techron. Just don't overdo it.

I usually try and change my oil fairly soon after using the Techron. Don't think it is the end of the world if you don't....

Thanks for reminding me to give my car a Techron treatment before my next oil change. It's about due. Think it's been at least 15k since I've done it. :)

BTW - In the past, Mobil gas has been recommended on this board because it leaves fewer deposits in your fuel system than other brands.
