Hmmm..that fact ( jets almost on bridge) puzzles me too...I don't KNOW what the fuel pressure is, but i don't have an original pump on there, it's one of those wretched modern ones, and I do suspect that the pressure is too high, purely from past posts suggesting that those pumps are rather too , er, enthusiastic..could that be the problem? I could fit an fpr I spose...
