I talked C.A. this evening re her car. Now that it is clean and has had oil/tranny flushed along with points that work, it is time to park the car in her yard. She really loves this wagon.

She is willing to let it go to a good home where it will be appreciated and to someone that will keep it somewhat original. Heck, it even has tires that are the original size, no aspect ratio in the numbers. The overdrive was put in by her mechanic many years ago, and it works great with or without a clutch.

I need to come up with a price, but I am having a hard time with that. There is rot at the rear of both front fenders, a little rot on the right rear window bottom, and the right rear bottom corner. It has been lightly scraped on the passenger side bottom, and the center of the grill. It needs a new exhaust, who knows how long a soup can will last :)

The heater cable needs to be replaced, the heat is always on. The drivers door vent window need new rivits. All of the windows need new squeege rubber. The fised windows need new rubber. The car has been repainted a cream white and realistically could use a really good sanding and paint job.

The front carpets are newer and OK, the rear carpet over the spare area is gone, as are the rear side panels and the front carpet/insulation on the firewall. Mostly cosmetic stuff.

It also needs new rubber bushings everywhere, 4 new shocks, and probably rear springs - there is a 1/2 inch sag. It does have a very nice trailer hitch.

The brakes are good, the engine is strong, the heat works, the electrics work except for the dome light. The clutch feels good, the tranny smooth, and it will pull up hill at 60mph with the OD active. An amazing amazon!

A lot of work. A lot of money. She has the original driver's seat and a spare tailgate in the carriage house, along with a few other goodies?

But, what is it worth? Really.

If you copy the side view of the car to your PC, then you can blow it up a little better.
