In the UK the phrase used is "bog standard" which is thought to be a corruption of "box standard". "Box stock" not used but "box fresh" used for your brand new Nikes and similar as a showing off/bragging term.
NOS for New Old Stock and MIB for Mint in Box, often used for toys like Dinky etc. Sometimes the box is worth as much as the toy!
