Front Struts 200

You'll need a good quality spring compressor, an air ratchet or electric rattle gun, some good directions, some muscle, anti-sieze, and more than a pinch of patience. My confidence is high in reading your previous posts that you will do fine, just take your time and don't hurt yourself. The only other tip I'll include right now is that you don't need to open up the brake circuit on your car. Undo the two bolts that hold your solid line on to the chassis, and carefully bend the hard line so that the lower A-arm can be at full droop. To get the bracket and its irritating bolts back in place, I use a pair of needle-nose Vise-Grip pliers. Clamp the bracket to the vehicle with the Vise-Grip pliers , then put your bolts in. Good luck, read up on the advice offered, look at the condition of your strut mounts while you're in there, and enjoy the difference in ride that you bring to your Volvo! You'll smile!
