What are your car's symptoms? The TPS is not a potentiometer. It is a switch to tell the computer when the throttle plate is closed, when it is open and when it is at full throttle and that is it. Air/fuel ratios are determined by the O2 sensor. Air intake is measured by the Mass Airflow Sensor. It is a fairly simple system really. Are you having stumbling problems just off idle or what?
